How to Stop Caring and Start Posting | Senior Bowl Summit Keynote 2020

Everybody would be so much happier if they focused on their passion as a career path. Instead, so many of us work jobs we hate and then use our passion as an escapism from the real world. If you were to repurpose that time consuming your passion and used it to talk about your passion and create content around it, your passion could end up as your part of your job thanks to the internet. To many of you that may sound unrealistic, bur Gary and many others are living proof that putting out content is the gateway to what you really want to do.

"I'm only excited when people tell me it is STUPID. That's when I know I'm about to do something SMART." That hit me hard man. Waking up daily 4:30am to get to factory work. Editing videos back home. Finally launching my Youtube Channel after years of doubt. Amazon FBA on the other hand. Keep going.

Thanks Gary for remind me to keep at it and keep going and keep trying. Reminding me not to give up trying to get my content out there. I've been working really hard recently to start my own channel, and I am determined to keep at it.

Hi Gary, I've been following you for a few months. I started blogging, Instagram and will add YouTube in the near future. Fear used to hold me back but now it's knowing what to say / post. Oh boy!🤣 I'll get there in the end! Well, before the end hopefully!

Posted this on LinkedIn after watching this video-
Will share what happened 🙋🏻‍♀️. Thanks #gary ——————————————
Making a resume is not easy or exciting!
I can’t exactly remember how I got into making them for others but the ones I designed were for selected few and curated after hours of long conversations with them. It helped them a lot but I didn’t do many as it’s highly time consuming to deliver the quality I promise.
So I chose training people at #digitalvidya #reboot #dezinecareers on making it rather than doing it for them.

Now… with the new situation, I am flooded with requests to review and re-create resumes.
I know I can make a huge difference in their chances of getting the job but I can’t do so many of these individual conversations!

    So, I have a plan!
If you email me your resume / Cv with 5 questions you need help at, I will combine all questions from and curate a video showing how the issue can be resolved and share it here!
If I feel necessary I will share a detailed feedback over email or do a quick zoom call.

I am NOT GOING to CHARGE , NOR I will CREATE your resume!

I am posting this after watching a #garyvee video & breaking a barrier.
I will only reply to specific & educated questions.
Only Tag/share ones who are in dire need of this kind of support.

You're WEARING A WHAT?!?!?!?!? YASSSSS Gary! T. Whack MUST be thrilled. You have ALWAYS been down.
I was the publicist for the International Society of Africans in Wine (now defunct, owner went broad and missed the mark *eyeroll*) and we spoke via email. You could not attend the media tour but you hit me up and talked about what a great idea it was and how we were on to something. Needless to say, one of our wineries was p/u by American Airlines! You are the Super Saiyan of marketing, and NEVER cease to amaze. STAY DOPE! 🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍

Always motivating and honest Gary, thank you! I'm now creating and publishing, creating and publishing. One day I'll hopefully email you with my good news story too 🙂 Thanks for sharing!

I envy the way you speak to people, @GaryVee . The clearance given to you in terms of space and energy to be raw and honest with all of us is the greatest asset for someone like you to positively impact people. I'm sure there's plenty of pushback, but ultimately you're winning that battle. Not everyone is. I have my full heart on one day reaching the same plane….however long it takes. Much love and appreciation as always, man
