Cooler Master MasterCase 5 and Pro 5 – Double Build

Cooler Master sent us a MasterCase 5 and MasterCase Pro 5 and told us to build something inside of them. We ASSUMED they meant a PC build, but who really knows. Maybe they wanted a little diorama of the Smurfs or something. Guess we’ll just have to see if they get mad.

It so amusing how computer parts manufactures now have to answer to youtubers and pray they do a good review of their products…
The same happens with game developers vs streamers, just more sad than amusing in that case…

Very cool case, I have one in my wish list on amazon, the pro, seems like this case would fit a AIO cooler with Push Pull fans if you get slim lines ones

1:45 I cringed a little and died on the inside. Even knowing the system can taking, doesn't mean it should take it.

I "dig" cases with handles. I own the Cooler Master Trooper case – love it! CM made a modern variant of this case, called: Master Case Maker 5T. But I like the Trooper better: it has a front bay for removable 2.5" HD, or SSD. Check them out, folks.

Oh my goodness. 1:45 when he lifted the case and put it down you can visibly see the gpu shake.

i normally go Corsair but since they gone 5.25" driveless mounts im forced into coolermasters arms, i will go with the Nvidia edition, and it would be a crime to not put at least 2-way gtx 1080s in there. Alongside PCiE Storage.

Need a removable motherboard tray to make installs easier and more professional. Also, the pro should allow reverse MB installs to place video cards (most expensive item in most systems) at the top of the case and in clear view.

Does this case come with red led fans as pictured on cooler masters website??
Bit pissed if it doesn't as I've ordered all my components to be based on a black and red theme.

When I looked at this case MasterCase 5 on Cooler Master's website and on Newegg, I only see TWO HDD slots. Is that all it comes with? I can't find anywhere (yes, I know how to use Google) anyone listing another drive cage for this case. If this case only comes with HDD drive slots in the included cages and no one has add-on cages then this case is an absolute miss for me. My main PC has 2 SSD drives and 4 HDD drives, no way could I get all that in this even mounting the SSDs on the backside of the motherboard plate. Can SOMEONE please tell how many %$&*$)@ HDD drive bays this comes with and how do you expand it if only comes with 2. Also, that's an additional expense that will probably greatly drive up the price of the case for those of us who keep more than two HDDs online (the "why" question is a non-starter).

Hello, will you do a review about i7 6950? It will meet my expectations about your channel.

I'd still take a Fractal Design Define S or Define R5 over this case. It's overpriced, since the Define S comes at almost 40% less (85EUR compared to 135EUR) with a far better layout for liquid cooling, and at least some sound dampening. The Define R5 trumps the CM Mastercase Pro 5 completely at only 109EUR. Still considerably cheaper than the CM. And who needs more than 5 drive bays anyways? The Define S has no 5.25" bays, 3 3.5" bays and 2 2.5" sleeves. More than enough storage than I ever need.
