I began collecting Black art many years ago, and it remains a passion of mine today. As with the art itself, my taste has changed over the years. I am intrigued and impressed by a person's ability to transform a mental picture onto a canvas or paper medium. I am particularly drawn to the works of Black artists because of their personal expressions and their expressions of a culture.
